Announcing "The Unquittable Church"
A Movement to Prevent Brokenness, Burnout, and Boredom
I’m thrilled to introduce "The Unquittable Church", a transformative new line of resources and events launching this fall to prevent and restore those still in the pews from experiencing brokenness, burnout, and boredom in church life.
A Vision for Renewal
Drawing inspiration from my book, I Quit Church: Broken, Burnt Out, & Bored of the Buildings and Programs, "The Unquittable Church" is designed to address the systemic issues that lead so many to feel disillusioned with modern church culture. Through practical tools, immersive events, and gospel-centered guidance, we aim to create faith communities where:
Brokenness is replaced with healing through authentic, supportive relationships.
Burnout is prevented by fostering balance, rest, and healthy boundaries.
Boredom is overcome with relevant, dynamic, and purpose-driven engagement.
Our mission is to equip church leaders and churchgoers to stay connected to their faith and community while avoiding the pitfalls of overcommitment, monotony, and disconnection. We want to help churches become places of solace, light, and hope—unquittable communities that reflect the heart of Christ.
What to Expect This Fall
"The Unquittable Church" will launch with a variety of resources and events tailored to revitalize your church experience:
Workshops and Retreats: Interactive sessions for church members and leaders to learn how to cultivate genuine community, set healthy boundaries, and create engaging worship experiences. Topics include "Breaking the Cycle of Burnout," "Reimagining Relevant Sermons," and "Fostering Gospel-Centered Relationships."
Online Resource Hub: A comprehensive library of articles, videos, podcasts, and guides offering practical strategies to prevent disillusionment and restore joy in church life. From tips on combating spiritual monotony to advice on nurturing authentic fellowship, these resources are designed for both individuals and congregations.
Small Group Curriculum (Spring 2026): A 6-week study series based on I Quit Church, equipping small groups to explore themes of healing, rest, and purpose while building deeper connections within their church.
Continuing Support for Those Outside the Pews
While "The Unquittable Church" focuses on those still in traditional church settings, I remain deeply committed to supporting individuals who have left the church or have never been part of one. Our existing resources and communities for those seeking Healing, Rest, and Purpose will continue to thrive, offering:
Mentorship Programs: Connecting individuals with experienced guides to navigate their spiritual journeys outside traditional church structures.
In-Person Gatherings: Safe spaces for authentic fellowship, whether in homes, coffee shops, or virtual platforms, where faith can be explored without the constraints of rigid programs.
Resources for Personal Growth: Books, podcasts, and Bible study tools to help individuals reconnect with Jesus and find vibrant expressions of worship and service.
We believe that faith is not confined to a building or a program but is alive wherever believers seek Christ with open hearts. Whether you’re still in the pews or exploring faith beyond the walls, we’re here to walk with you.

As Jesus said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28, NIV). Let’s create churches where this promise is lived out every day—where no one feels compelled to quit but is instead inspired to stay, grow, and thrive.
